Mr. Nirmal Kumar Upreti
Advocate, Nirmal Kumar Upreti is a young human rights defender and youth activist from Nepal who has more than 10 years of professional experiences in the diverse working areas including sustainable development, peace and SRHR. He has completed LL.M from Kathmandu School of Law, MA in English from Tribhuvan University and LL.B from Nepal Law Campus.
Mr. Upreti has contributed to establish the Youth Policy-2010 and has worked on Peace Process of Nepal by engaging himself in Maoist Army Reintegration Process in 2012. He has expertise on working in migrant workers issues.
Mr. Upreti is one of the pioneers of Community Mobile Legal Clinic Aid project in Nepal. His innovative projects has awarded with UNDP Success Story in 2010. Legal Awareness, Legal Literacy and Free Legal Counselling to marginalized and vulnerable population of the community and providing access to justice at door-steps are the components of the project. He is the founder president and currently the patron of Nepalese Law Students' Association (NeLSA), an umbrella organization of Nepali law students where more than 600 law students are associated all around the world. He also serves as a founder president of Forum for Nation Building, Nepal, an NGO of young professionals dedicated for the nation building initiatives.
Mr. Lokmani Rai
Lokmani Rai is young human rights defender and journalist by profession. He has more than 14 years of experiences of working with print media comprising daily, weekly and monthly newspaper and magazine of Academically Mr. Rai has received Masters' Degree in English Literature and Political Science from Tribhuvan University. He has also received Bachelors' Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Mr. Rai is a trainer and resource person for Federation of Nepalese Indigenous Nationalist Journalists (FONIJ). He also has received Kantipur Extra ordinary Performance Award 2012, SEJON Award 2012, SEJON Award 2013 and Competitive Investigative Journalism Award 2013 by CIJ and British Embassy.
Mr. Rai is founding vicepresident of Forum for Nation Building Nepal and plays the crucial role on setting theorganization vision, mission and goal.
Ms. Manju Gautam
Manju Gautam is a youth activist and human rights, defender. She has completed her MBA in Human Resource Management. Besides youth activism, she was associated with DHL as a Customer Service Country Manager and Standard Chartered Bank as a Customer Service Manager. She is the former founder, Vice Chairperson of Laxmi Pratisthan and the member of United States Youth Advisory Council.
Her involvement with Forum for National Building Nepal is very crucial as she is the founder and currently the Secretary of FNB, Nepal. She is also leading "CMLC for earthquake victim" project of FNB, Nepal. Manju is the Adviser of Kathmandu DonBosco Alumni and has been associated with various voluntary and social welfare activities including human rights and development. in her free time, she enjoys yoga, dancing, travelling and photography.
Mr. Jeevan Paudel
Jeevan Paudel is a young human rights defender and IT professional. He has more than five years of experiences of working with migrant worker rights, youth and development. Academically he is pursuing Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. He is interested to work on software development and community empowerment. Mr. Paudel is a founder member and treasurer of Forum for Nation Building Nepal.
Mr. Saroj Adhikari
Advocate Saroj Adhikari is youth human rights defender and social activist from Nepal. Academically he is Master in Law and Master in Business Studies. He is the founding member and has more than five years of experience on legal empowerment and human rights. He provides counseling and legal advice to corporate and criminal cases.
Ms. Amrita Mandal is young human rights defender and serves voluntarily on organization activities. She has completed Master in Business Studies and she has experiences of working in banking sector of Nepal. She is interested to work on women rights, gender justice and equality issues. Currently she serves as an executive member of Forum for Nation Building Nepal.
Mr. Kedar Prasad Dhungana
Mr. Kedar Prasad Dhungana is a young social activist currently working in Tokyo, Japan, is the founder member of FNB Nepal. He has completed Bachelor in International Culture from Poole Gakauin University, Osaka, Japan. He has served more than five year in tourism sector of Nepal and has developed expertise on import export business of vehicle in Japan since 2006. He is interested to work in the agriculture and development issues of Nepal.
Mr. Radha Krishna Deuja
Radhakrishna Deuja, member of Forum for Nation Building Nepal, is currently pursuing a degree in National Security Studies in the United States. He had his Diploma in Civil Engineering from Tribhuvan Univrsity, and he had his Bachelor Degree in Homeland Security from State University of New York, Mercy College, New York. He is currently a chairman of Overseas Nepali Forum, America, New York State Committee, and his involved in serving Nepali community in America. He regularly writes articles on various issues of Homeland Security, and Politics. He is well known of different aspects of police operations, and closely monitors them, and put forward is opinion whenever he thinks is appropriate.
